Shop Flooring

Flooring in a shop either has to be a neutral colour not to be noticed, but practical and easy maintenance or stylish and fitting with the tone of the brand. Some good materials for shop flooring would be a simple concrete or laminate. It’s easy to clean and looks simple while blending into the background. For a more upmarket appearance, hard wood flooring or engineered wood flooring, it will take a bit longer to clean, but is usually used in shops where spillages are rare occurrences.

Concrete Flooring – Easy to clean, hard wearing material. Will need cleaning maintenance often for general dirt, but will need sealer every 1-3 years.

Laminate Flooring – Laminate flooring can be really easy to clean, has a life expectancy of 15 and 25 years.

Hard Wood Flooring – Hard wood flooring can look really upmarket, but can be expensive and will need maintenance every few years due to movement and marks on the floor. It’s a hard wearing material and although expensive, is a good investment and can last up to a lifetime.

Engineered wood flooring – Engineered wood flooring looks up market and clean, with a slightly shorter life span, but still last for a minimum of 20 years.
